A very worn slightly battered silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) second or third coinage dating to the period AD 1561-1602. Obverse: bust left with rose behind. Obverse legend: ELIZAB[ETH] D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA. Reverse: illegible square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend. Reverse legend: [POUSI DEU ADIUTOREM MEU]. Probably Tower of London mint.
